Great to have you here!

My name is Ashley and I am a twenty-five-year-old visual artist and teacher from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts & English Literature from the University of Windsor and have several years of experience working in the Arts.

During the day, I’m an Elementary Art and Tech teacher, but when I’m not with my students, I’m running Werks - which started out as just a handful of handmade greeting cards back in 2016.

As a digital artist and illustrator, I’m influenced by the things that surround me - television, toys, video games, and more - but I am especially inspired by the items that made my childhood. Growing up in the early 2000s, everything in my eyes was bright, shiny and totally fabulous - so my goal is to be able to recreate all of my favourite things through the rose-coloured lens of my younger self.

I am thrilled to be able to share my passion for fun, nostalgic and relatable ideas through artwork that is affordable and accessible for all!
